The Plymouth County Conservation District is pleased to offer a specially blended mix of grass seed. This mix is currently being tested on several sites and showing great results. It is specially formulated to grow on problem slopes and poor soil, plus being more affordable than other mixes. The mixture contains: Creeping Red Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass and Empire Birdsfoot Trefoil. The seed can be purchased from the District for $2.30 a pound, in a 50 pound bag for $115.00.

This seeding shows hydroseeding in early Fall of 2002, grass growth of late Fall of 2002, and ends with growth of Summer of 2003.

This seeding was done in early Fall of 2002 and progression through to late Fall of 2002. The last two pictures show Spring and Summer growth of 2003.
